Winter Mixed Cabbage Slaw

Winter Mixed Cabbage Slaw

Winter Mixed Cabbage Slaw, this is the perfect side dish for all the lovely roasted, braised and baked entree’s for Fall and Winter.  I especially love this with my Braised Beef in Red Wine,  Brasato di Manzo recipe here on the blog.  This red and white cabbage slaw is mixed with assorted nuts and seeds, raisins and apples all tossed with a creamy balsamic mayonnaise.   Very easy to construct, with little preparation time, pick up the already shredded cabbages in a bag, along with a nut and seed mix pack, some raisins, an apple and a red onion it is as easy as that.  A simple creamy dressing of aged balsamic vinegar with a little mayonnaise and some olive oil and you have a delicious  Winter Mixed Cabbage Slaw.   Let’s Cook!
